Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical
Installations
BS 7671 : 2008 – 17th Edition Update Programme
A one day programme aimed at delegates who hold one or more of the following certificates:-
2381 City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements
for Electrical Installations
BS7671: June 2001 or
2330-07 City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in
Electrotechnical Technology Installation
( Building and Structures ) or
2330-08 City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in
Electrotechnical Technology Electrical
Maintenance or
2360 City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical
Installation Part Two
( from January 1st 2004 onwards only )
It is assumed from the outset that the candidate has knowledge of BS 7671:2001. If this is not the case, even though you hold one of the above certificates, it is recommended that you sit the full City & Guilds 2382 – 10 programme.
The course will provide an insight into the changes between BS7671:2001 and BS7671:2008.
It will focus on the changes in terminology, new additions, deleted regulations and the reasoning behind the new tabulated values.
The examination is a 1 hour, 30 question multiple choice, open book, pc based via the City & Guilds ‘GOLA’ system with immediate results.
Please Note: Candidates will need
to provide, in advance of the course date, their original
certificate for authenticity of the award and a copy of
their original certificate, which will need to be kept by
the training provider. They will also need to provide
Photographic ID, either passport or driving license to
confirm their identity.
Failure to provide any of the above will result in not being
allowed to sit the examination.
Duration : One Day
NB. Candidates require the latest BS 7671: 2008 17th Edition
Regulations Book.
